Scholarship Application Information

The 2025-2026 scholarship application opens July 1, 2025. Applications can be accessed at:
www.gatewaymessengers.com/scholarship

Application Requirements

Applicants must submit a one-page personal statement addressing:

• Educational and career goals, and how you plan to achieve them
• What inspired you to pursue these goals
• How you plan to contribute to your community after completing your education

Required Documents

• Official Academic Report Card: Most recent report card required. A minimum GPA of 2.75 must be maintained after the first semester.
• Community Service Confirmation: Minimum of 7 community service hours per semester. A signed confirmation form is required for each project.
• Character Reference Letter: One letter of recommendation from a pastor or school principal.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students entering Grades 6 through 11
• Minimum 2.75 GPA
• Pastor or school administrator recommendation
• Commitment to full academic year attendance
• Completion of required community service hours

Award Requirements

Selected scholarship recipients must submit the following documents by November 8, 2025:

• Enrollment Agreement
• Financial Responsibility Form
• Student Information Form
• Photo Release Form

Scholarship funds will not be released until all required documentation is received by the Beauty for Ashes Ministries main office.

Scholarship Coverage

Scholarships awarded are exclusively designated for:

• Tuition
• Uniforms
• Textbooks

Scholarships are awarded for the 2025-2026 school year. Recipients must reapply annually.

Submission Deadline

Completed application packets must be submitted by September 21, 2025.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Award notifications will be sent by October 7, 2025.

Our heart for education extends beyond our global missions. In addition to supporting students internationally, we are excited to announce the launch of Urban Scholarship Initiatives right here at home.

Beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, we will introduce targeted scholarship opportunities for students in South Hillsborough County, Florida — an area deeply rooted in community but often impacted by economic disparities.

Our goal is to identify and invest in students who demonstrate resilience, leadership potential, and a desire to break generational cycles through education. These scholarships will help remove financial barriers and provide resources that equip students to thrive academically and pursue the future God has purposed for them.
